California Masters is a series of films on the artists who have defined the unique artistic landscape of California. Schierholt’s films or “conversational portraits” offer insight into the artists and allow them, in their own words, to discuss what has influenced, motivated and inspired them. The films offer a uniquely intimate portrait of an artist and his or her work.
