“The film was a vital part of the Farnsworth’s 2009 Robert Indiana exhibition. It gave viewers something they couldn’t have experienced in the exhibition itself: an intimate, revealing portrait of the artist and his remarkable home and studio environment, a former Odd Fellows lodge called the Star of Hope. Dale Schierholt captured both Indiana and the Star of Hope in a film that very much stands on its own”.
